The Neighbors – Kabanata 13
Sa loob ng sasakyan, masuyong kinabig siya ng binata sa ulo at muling siniil ng halik sa mga labi. Ikinawit din niya ang isang braso sa batok nito at buong kasabikang tinugon ang halik na iyon.
“Bakit hindi totoo ang nasa litrato?” tanong nito pagkatapos.
“Pinagbigyan ko lang siya sa kahilingan niyang magkunwari kaming mag-sweetheart,” aniya. “Hindi na mauulit ‘yon, okey?”
Tumango ito. “Okey.” Inilabas nito ang singsing at isinuot sa kanyang daliri. “It’s your engagement ring. Please wear it for life.”
“Yes, Sammy, I will.”
Ini- release nito ang hand brake at pinatakbo na ang kotse. Isang button ang diniinan nito sa car stereo. Nang gumana ang stereo, narinig ni Liza ang isang lumang awitin:

I’ve kept the memories one by one

I know I’ll never love this way again…
“Bakit nga pala doon mo pa gustong magkita tayo, Liza?”
“Sa dulo ng Mines View Park?”
“Oo.”
“Marami nga kasing tao roon palagi. At akala ko’y hindi iyon ang lugar for intimacies. Malay ko bang sanay ka palang humalik sa gitna ng maraming tao — at umiiyak pa!”
Napatawa nang malakas ang binata. Bumilis pa ang takbo ng pulang kotse papalayo.

danda…nd minadale..sana ung story namn about two pasaway pipol..as if ung guy ayaw sa girl na filing genius but determined to get everytin she wants.ung guy nmn tamad mg aral,mamasboy,but funny.however they are joined together in one big problem that turns out into a romantic comedy love..haha..isnt it kilig?..weeee nd yata. suggestion lng nmn!
